I came to design as a second career and didn’t know how a passion could flourish. I went back to school and spent 9 years working under a family member until her retirement. First established in the Bay Area, she opened and I operated our Montavilla Showroom until 2025.

I have now launched L A Y O U T Design, specializing in Kitchens and Baths. The most complicated rooms in a home, I love puzzling out the inches, the code, the restrictions to make a space feel at peace.

Good design makes sense, it feels right to the point of sometimes not noticing it. And sometimes, the process isn’t obvious.
I love the work of this, and I do not stop until it is right, and right for you.
